Exciting news from Arken HQ!

2020 started with the successful re-brand of The Write People For Design to Arken Creative.  A positive note on which to begin the year, little did anyone know that by March the UK would be in lockdown with most businesses/employees working from home, including Team Arken!  Tough times, however, “every cloud has a silver lining.”

It has always been a long term business goal to own office space rather than rent premises and in June an opportunity presented itself to purchase 3A Forrest Road, Riverside, Stirling.  Given the difficult business circumstances we all found ourselves with facing the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, the timing could have been better but this perfect property came on to the market and after viewing, doing the sums and much thought, of course, we had to go for it! 😉

The building has required an extensive refurbishment to provide modern facilities and create two defined areas, one for Arken Creative and another for a prospective Tenant, offering access to a communal kitchen and toilets, as well as creating a separate meeting room for both businesses to use.

We aim to complete the refurbishment by February, with Arken Creative hoping to work from its very own new creative space as soon as possible thereafter (dependent on restrictions), enjoying views over to the Ochil Hills and The Wallace Monument, which we hope we will be too busy to fully appreciate of course!

As well as Arken Creative’s office, the refurbished property will also have 32m2 of additional office space available for rent. This will comprise of two separate rooms with private access between both and the use of a shared kitchen, toilet facilities and meeting room.
